I’m so pleased Amazon came out with Wag canned food. I’m a huge fan of the puppy dry food for my growing Mastiffs. I have been using a canned 95 percent chicken to add to the food but it is VERY expensive. I was hoping Amazon would expand the Wag line and they did. We have the chicken stew and lamb stew now and my boys eat it right up. Each can is filled to the top with meat there are veggies and sauce but they are not the star. This is not a can of sauce and veggies with a couple of bits of meat it is the opposite. Great deal easy open cans no opener needed. It meets AAFCO and has no fillers. I am a fan as are my dogs.

Ever wake up at 3am to your dog squirting bloody stool all over her kennel and the floor? If you buy this dog food, you just might! What a horrible experience! Three veterinarian trips over the course of two months, totaling over $1,000 in expenses, to correctly diagnose the 9% crude fat content in this food (and the 15% crude fat in the Wag dry food) was causing this disgusting and very unpleasant illness. Amazon says on their can the nutritional content is developed according to the guidelines of the AAFCO. The AAFCO says crude fat should be at 5.5%, not 9%. The veterinarian pointed out, a dog food meeting basic minimum requirements for nutrition does NOT mean it has been feed tested over months and years to see what kind of effect is has on them! This food had a very expensive and potentially life threatening effect on my dog and I will never buy it again. I encourage you not to either!!
