I cannot complain about the Blackwood dog food. My 2 Great Danes do very well on this. The complaint is that the bags are damaged upon delivery and it’s not the company’s fault. Last 2 bags have been torn and kibbles everywhere in the box. Recommend do not order online, instead pick up at local specialized pet store.

This is an update to my previous review: I contacted the Blackwood Pet Food Company customer service. Just WOW, wonderful customer service. With a sincere apology and an offer to replace the dog food, I am a huge fan of this company. My pups really do well on this food and the company stands behind the quality of the food and their service.

The formula has been changed and they don’t notify you. I found out when it made my dog sick! And he had been on the old formula for 3 years

Answer: I usually feed my dog 2 cups a day and the 30lb bag last me all month

Answer: sorry, I assumed it was from the mfg.. call Blackwood and ask them, perhaps they can help.
