Recently bought 3 12 item boxes of this product which dogs like. Put them in my pantry still sealed and I noticed a foul odor. I sniffed the Blue Buffalo and then realized smell was coming from one of the boxes. Opened to find some of the packets had split/blown apart or punctured. Pitched all 12 as the rather soupy food/oil was on every item. Sincerely believe Blue Buffalo owes me a refund or a new box of 12. This is only time it has happened…..so far..

I contacted Blue Buffalo concerning their product. Their response was to return it to Amazon. My concern was that my dog and other dogs might get ill and was hoping that they would check their product from this batch and make sure it was safe. Expiration date on product was 20/20 Oct 4. They just wanted me to return it to Amazon. Won’t be recommending this product.

After opened how long is it edible for?
Answer: My 2 small dogs consume a whole one each day so I do not usually store this food after opened. However it has lasted at least a week, covered with the lid or foil, in the refrigerator.
